We can’t keep this to ourselves any longer, we’re nearly bursting at the seams with excitement! So we’ll just go ahead and say it:
GA Gives Day is set for Wednesday, November 13, 2013!
After much consideration, we have chosen this date as the official day of giving in Georgia, the day when everyone in the state will rush to one place online and we’ll see how much we can raise together in just 24 hours.
If you missed the flashmob of giving last year, here’s how it works. Starting at midnight on Nov. 13, we will challenge Georgians to go to our website, GAgivesday.org, find a nonprofit that ignites their passion and GIVE. Throughout the day we will be celebrating and supporting thousands of nonprofits that make Georgia such a peachy place to live!
Circle, underline, highlight and star that date - 11/13/13. Go get your pen and calendar. Seriously. Go ahead. We’ll wait.
Now that we’re scheduled on your agenda, check out the nonprofits that are already on our site. There are organizations in focus areas such as environment and wildlife, arts and culture, human services, children and youth, economic development, the list goes on and on and they all need our support just like we need them.
Bookmark us now, but don’t worry, we’ll make sure you don’t forget to come back.
